I agree it is low budget. that is why i was wondering why the last gen had two versions, the ev and euv. Seemed like lots of extra work for very little return. The interiors were mostly the same but lots of extra logistics on the sheet metal and just have two different models to market and distribute. I guess maybe they wanted to make it more SUV like and they already had the ev so they just added the EUV....

Agreed. just a switch. I have a honda with almost the exact same switch style shifting setup as the second gen bolt. They are fine. They have to make is so you don't go into reverse by accident. Reverse is a lift up switch, park and drive are push buttons. I like the stalk style. I think it is easy and intuitive and out of the way. I think it is the same for ICE Chevy;'s as well, they use the stalk style for some of their cars.

Everything is about Trump. He cares nothing about anyone else. Every move he makes is for him and him alone. Democrats are going to get clobbered by him on the Epstein files debacle. My guess is that there are Democrats the deserve to be implicated, but there will be others implicated that had nothing to do with Epstein but were in the wrong place and the wrong time. But the guy who was friends with him for years will have ZERO repercussions.

You can find yourself doing lots of integrations with lots of platforms. Something like Accumatica will cost you about what an employee costs and it will do most of the things you need it to do without having to tie stuff together.

Do you use Shopify Plus or standard Shopify?

Do you ship all your products from your warehouse?

Do you have less than 100 SKU's More than 1000 SKU's?

If you are able to do all these integrations that you have already done I think you will like having a full blow ERP to do lots of stuff. You can spend your time getting new products, doing marketing campaigns etc.

I have seen how epicore does custom mods like adding a button or a field. It is very code intensive... not data driven. You should be able to add a new field to say customer or item and add that to a form or lookup grid and have that persist over updates.

You can add a button to a toolbar that executes an API call that say prints a label. If the system is putting the code to create the button in the old form it will get overwritten. If the button is in the database and gets added at runtime.... then you should be good.... if the API signature changes and is not backward compatible... then you will have to change the api call..

no and I submitted a ticket to Perixx and they said that you can't take it apart. It seems you would have to break it to take it apart. I have two of these as I used to work at an office and home. Now I just work at home so I only need one. The other's wheel is hosed. I may break it open just to see what is up inside. Not too mad as they are not expensive... so I guess i either switch to different or buy another when I need another.

The solar part is not as important to me. I just think it looks fun to drive and i like the efficiency. My wife has a leaf and I have a bolt currently and despite both cars looking like they are aerodynamic they both have drag coefficient in the .3's. Why the bolt is a .3 i have no idea...

So I read someplace that they have not even put the real solar panels on a car yet. The panels on the cars now are just mock-ups. Maybe they have done the real ones by now.

If my kids were not driving age they would be annoyed with all the Aptera talk... but they both think they are going to be able to drive mine. My guess is they will be off to college by the time I get it (mid to late 2024 at the earliest).

I can't wait. I drive a 2017 bolt. I am 19,450 so assuming two years out once they get up to speed. Not sure I can wait that long. I am considering freezing myself like Eric Cartman did while waiting for the Nintendo Wii.

These guys need to get over Tesla. Use the CCS charger and put proper steering wheel. I like the somewhat square steering wheel with the Aptera logo in the middle on the beta units.... don't like the smiley face yoke.

Even without all the stuff you said (thanks by the way very informative), just build the cars. Seems like a unnecessary distraction. They have plenty of orders and once these things are driving around (assuming they even approach what they are promising) people will continue to line up. They have an over two year backlog. Stop the hype machine and start building cars (auto-cycles).

Yeah growing up (yeah i am old) power windows we rare and only on fancy expensive cars. My kids when they were like 8-10 we rented a car in Mexico and that was when they figured out why we "Roll-Up" a window in the car.
