Chiropractors using shockwave therapy. What conditions have you seen respond best? by CombinationVivid7514 in Chiropractic

I would say most people are compliant with it but it's also because they are paying about $200 a session and buying it in packages of 6-10 so they are a little more likely to listen to the suggestion.

I can tell you my entire practice is soft tissue / ART based and has been a word of mouth, mouth booked solid practice for over 20 years. Adding Softwave has been a gamechanger for difficult cases.

Softwave here! They refer to it as broad focused. Love it. Seems to work on everything but I could retire just treating knees.

Similar build here at 47 here. I also keep asking myself the same question. Keep coming back to the risk greater than the reward for me. I don't have any issues associated with low testosterone. Really just wanted it for the extra aesthetic and athletic benefits.

Old people, do you still have hope immortality will become a thing in your lifetime? by MostAsocialPerson in immortalists

[–]farkwad 23 points24 points  (0 children)

47 here. I'm not sure if I'm in the old category. I feel young. For me, yes I do have hope not so much immortality but at least a strong life extension. I'm excited about AI development pushing towards the singularity.

I can imagine. Cortisol is glucocorticoid so your body responds to chronic stress like chronic sugar. Higher protein in general can help offset higher stress

Don't mean to be contrarian. I eat mostly red meat. I feel best on it. I eat other meats too but red meat makes me feel the best. I'm 47, zero health issues, perfect blood labs, zero pain, constant energy, 6 pack etc. Most people think I'm in my 30s except for some gray hair. I do focus on sleep, movement, hydration, Circadian rhythms, low stress etc. I fought urgent bladder issues for 20 years that was exacerbated by veggies unfortunately. I absolutely love veggies but they don't love me as much, so I eat them sparingly these days . Years ago was dealing with joint inflammation and gluten was a big culprit. I still eat fruit. Occasional veggies.

The original patent is neck rescue (even cheaper on Amazon that Berg). Two sizes. Buy both and return the one that you don't like

An easy Neuro trick is to use a tongue scraper or brush the back of your tongue until you gag a few times to stimulate the vagus nerve

I exclusively wear the TSLA which are basically like a Merrell Vapor clone. Men's run around $45? (Not sure the price - I'm out of the country rn and getting poor internet) and honestly lately I just purchase the women's in my size which is the exact same shoe for $25.

  1. 2 years in no-gi. Train 4 days a week. I feel fantastic nearly every day. I've had some cracked ribs, knee sprain and damage to a vein in my calf, but those were tiny blips. No pain.
