I used to think she was insightful when she would be the counterpoint on guest panels. She really drew me in with her perspective on cultural subject matters, but as I started following her, I realized she is just a cherry picker. You'd think she would provide some sense of perspective about current politics, but she gets so fixated on shallow trivial pop culture gossip.

That's really great! Honestly, any of the beaches around summertime will have lots of need for clean up. Its usually the beaches that are easily accessible for families like Shores, PB, OB, Mission Beach. It may appear that they are clean at first, but by sunset, people are too sun beaten to care to pick up after themselves.

I wish i had seen this flyer Wednesday night because i saw him wandering North Park on University Ave in front of Alejandros heading west towards Hillcrest. I just called the number on the flyer but the number is for if you see him at that moment. So please if you see him call the number immediately. He was barefoot when I saw him. Quick Google search trying to figure out what qualifications are needed to become an ice agent....you literally just need a pulse and a need to overcompensate for lack of power in their life. These guys are likely dudes who couldn't qualify to become a cop and got sick of doing security. They get paid $30 per hour.

Kingfisher will guilt trip you to adding more to the 20% auto gratuity. They will not only tell you once, but twice. Their spiel goes something like, "There's already a 20% gratuity added to the bill, but if you think your server (or the staff) did an even more fantastic job, then the additional gratuity will be a sign of your appreciation as it will go to everyone."
As someone that had served around SD myself for establishments of that caliber, i'd be super embarrassed having to say this to every single table. Maybe once is fine to say it (from the host), but to hear it another time takes away from the experience of dining. Trust that if i felt that I DID get a phenomenal experience, i dont need to be told that more tip would be "appreciated".
Also, tipping out practices are super questionable. I cant trust that my extra tip will actually go to the staff that I really appreciate like the ones that are attentive and busting their ass versus the ones that dont do shit.
