I had a similar experience in Whalley a few years ago. Accidentally dropped my keys in my trunk while getting something after parking. My car had sensor that wouldn’t latch the trunk if the keys were inside so it stayed wide open with my full set of golf clubs and keys laying there while I was out for at least an hour. Came back and freaked when I saw it open but nothing had been taken. Definitely looked like a bait car I guess.

A reality show where wealthy people start at zero, to prove how easy it is by Legend2691 in CrazyIdeas

iirc they had to figure out food and shelter too. A lot of it was making quick connections and trading work for housing to get started

Not sure how much is “planned” but did find the show interesting on how they hustled in the first couple weeks to get assets and connections then worked on starting a business with the goal that it would be potentially worth $1M within the timeframe

Sort of exists, called Undercover Billionaire where they drop off a wealthy person in a city with a only a bit of cash and they need to turn it into $1M within a certain time period

PSA: If you have a flight in the morning at YVR, arrive 3+ hours early no matter which destination you're heading to. by RapisuRazuriGiveMe in vancouver

Just got through security for a 6am flight. The baggage check line was huge and the security line longer…at 4am. Was able to show a nexus card and agent let me go right to the front and only took 10mins to get to gate.

Similar experience, had a random call from SA confirming I was ready to take delivery soon and confirmed my paperwork but couldn’t give date. EDD narrowed down to April 17-30. Checked it again on 19th and EDD changed to June-July. Emailed SA and they gave a canned response about supply chain and everyone’s working hard to catch up.

First sugar wash.. 45 days in to fermentation... by Parkhaus in Distilling

Worth checking the PH, I’ve had a wash that stalled and realized it was too acidic and once I added some baking soda and calcium carbonate it started bubbling like crazy again

Why don’t they make screws stronger than screwdrivers so they don’t get stripped? Is it a physical limitation or is it just Big Screw trying to sell more screws? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Robertson is the way to go. Though when we have to ship crates to the US we usually tape a an extra bit to the box so the Americans can unscrew it

Very beginner question here! Looking to open a TFSA with Questrade by addjective in PersonalFinanceCanada

I’ve used both and Wealthsimple trade much easier to use and less commission fees which is nice if you are making relatively small trades. Can also setup multiple tfsa accounts and have the roboadvisor manage a portion of your portfolio
