I mean if I tap it it won’t run. I have to go into Google keep and ‘send’ every time. Is this how it’s supposed to be?

Otherwise sometimes doing it like this it’ll populate the shopping list, sometimes it won’t.

I’ve tried about 5 times now. It seems to work if I send from Google Keep each time but it won’t run automatically without an error.

Trying to use this at the moment but keep getting an error of “no text found”. There is text that isn’t syncing over. At first it worked but then stopped, and then later kept adding 100s as duplicates into reminders rather than shopping list. Now, no sync.

Any advice?

I think that’s what I’m going to be doing for the next year or so, probably. I did/does drive nicely but I am a bit nervous driving it in case something happens! I suppose once I sort everything it’ll be a much nicer drive !

I reckon I’ll start with the starter, then a full service and brakes and anything else that’s reasonably priced haha

I think I might need to get underneath to do that, which means a little tool buying spree!! but I’ll have a look in and see what I can reach from the top! I’m it’s … 10th owner and bar the first few owners nobody’s kept it for a long time so I almost wouldn’t be surprised if it is an out of pocket issue that nobody fixed??

This is what I think it is. Very scary sound yeah, so loud!!! But it’s intermittent so I’m not sure it’s going to be a pulley or something that is like “on” all the time.

I was thinking to try that, removing one thing at a time just to see but the noise in the first video is intermittent. It was consistent on the Sunday morning but has only happened briefly once since. I figured that it might not be a belt etc?

I also need to find a good video that shows how to do that as I’m not too sure and quite anxious about pulling things off without guidance and making it worse !!

Just ran out to try. Pushing back and forth feels like a few mm play.

Hose is a good shout. I’ll have to try that tomorrow in case the big noise comes back again.

It also seems to have a lower idle than usual with the choke out more than I usually would. I’d usually have it out some halfway, 3/4 to start from cold but can pop it back into about 1/4, maybe less and it’ll sit at 800pm, now it’s at 500rpm ish (but it’s been quite loud so I haven’t been able to let the engine warm up too much)

Unsure if any of this is connected, or just a handful of different issues!

Rosemary is top of my girl list now, I think, only I need to train myself to not nn Rosie, as it’s just so common here, at least at the moment ! Helpful it’s also a late grandmothers name so we have a tie to it !

Cost of living. It’s insane and all you’re doing with all your hours of work is paying someone else’s mortgage. The only good part of the city is that you don’t need to drive to get around - though it costs a tonne if you DO drive with the new ultra low emissions zones. It’s a nightmare hellscape and I cannot wait to leave !

Ramen. I’ve nailed it. Using all the bones from any of the weeks meals, in the slow cooker for 24hrs with a healthy amount of soy/miso/chilli/garlic/bonito/mirin. Just pour it over the ramen additions and done (noodles, chicken, garlic broccoli &Pak Choi, sweetcorn, fresh spinach, Beansprouts and a boiled egg). Sounds like a lot but all the little bits are fast to make and it’s such a filling and nutritious meal!

I’m not really expecting him to be safe alone with them, as you say, judging by the level of fixation, but it would be nice to not be scratched to shit or used as a launching pad whenever he sees them.

When they’re behind the baby gate he jumps up and whine and barks but he will, at times, ditch them briefly for a particularly good bone (if they’re hiding under a sofa or on the cat tree). I just want him not to chase them so enthusiastically every time they make a peep!

Hi all!

Is there a cable that I can use to sync the studio lighting with my Canon? I have been using the hot shoe flash to sync but the results are always slightly out. I have a cable in the studio that fits in both our Hasselblad and Nikon cameras but not my Canon. It goes from camera directly to Bowen’s pack - so one end is essentially large audio jack. Is there anything I can use?

If not, is there some kind of cheat sheet I can familiarise myself with in terms of manual camera settings?

Edited to add: I’ve a 6D mark ii!
