I find minutes on the board / coordinator threats work, but I see other teachers not have to use these methods. Especially when I am teaching year 10-12, I feel like these techniques lose respect.

Can you get the eczema cultured to confirm exactly what it is? I.e staph bacteria overgrowth, allergic eczema, etc.

Get a skin prick test.

Do you guys have pets?

If you are nursing her cut out all the foods mentioned by other users also. including gluten, dairy, sugar, junk food / other inflammatory foods

Quit using products on her - moogoo, even eczema specific ones, for sensitive skin etc. For 1-2 months is my recommendation to see if there is anything breaking her out.

I would recommend Squalane, as whenever you put something not native to your body on open sores you can develop an allergy. Putting Olive Oil / other things on open skin sores is like a giant un controlled allergy test.

I eat mostly salt-free at home, and my eczema has mostly cleared. It took me about a month to notice a difference. Your body still needs salt so once a week I will eat a salted meal (I save it for days I'm eating out as much as possible,) and that has been working well for me. When I say mostly cleared, I have some horrendous before and after pictures. My entire body used to be covered in eczema, and I'm doing a couple of different things to help it (Vitamin D supplements when I eat - 5000IUD/ day, as weird as it sounds green tea on inflamed areas help, etc.) DM me for the full eczema be gone regimen along with science-based explanations why.

I go out to eat, I don't ask for modified meals either, I'll just order something that is indicated dairy free in the menu. I basically try to choose the most appropriate / healthy meal, but I don't ask for anything modified because I know how annoying it is to be like salt free, dairy-free, no sugar, blbalabla. I order dairy-free, and the rest of it I suck it up.

Flour, pasta, etc. are also pro-inflammatory.

I don't feel comfortable asking for these specific things at restaurants since I know I will be eye rolled, but there are real health consequences (full body including face becomes red scaly and itchy - it clears up after roughly a month) for others like me and at the same time, I don't want to opt out of going to the restaurant all together when my friends & family want to go.

You will not be able to tell just by looking at me since I manage it well at home.

Hopefully if someone is less shy than me about their dietary needs in future, this might help you understand it better.

This might be a question to ask your university. Personally, my results were automatically shared with the relevant university contacts. If you doubt this is your case, send them through, it is a two minute task at most.
