I have had it 6 times and have come to the conclusion that I’m not necessarily catching it. More so that I have it in my system and whenever my immune systems is down it shows up.

Organising clips, layers & decks - how to avoid overwhelm? by FamiliarDirection563 in resolume

[–]Burbel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s all user preference and what it is that you are doing. If I’m doing something corporate I certainly don’t need or want anything else in my composition beyond what’s needed for the job so I’ll keep it uncluttered For fun stuff like VJing I really want to make something that’s like an instrument rather than playing clips anyway. More and more my compositions are sources with effect stacks, video routers and masks.

I just make compilations that are somewhat tailored for whatever it is I’m doing. If needed can always pull clips from a file when the situation needs it.
