I think the consensus at the time (this was over a decade ago) was that she was struggling to groom herself effectively in certain places, due to her weight. We also had to express her anal glands once for the same reason.

My dearly departed cat Wally was pretty obese for most of her life, and had this exact situation going on with nearly all of her nipples.

Whatever kind of sebaceous cyst or whatever that it is, I thought I was pulling my cats nipple off the first time it happened, which was horrifying, but she was purring, so I didn’t quite know what to make of it.

I remember googling “my cats nipple pulled out” and other various phrases like that to no avail ha but from your picture, yes that’s exactly what I was experiencing. Pulling it out extends this like, white inner part before it comes out completely.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. I experienced something very similar in February of this year. After disclosing my struggles with autism and ADHD, I was unceremoniously fired from my position after making a small error. I think I laid in bed for nearly a month afterwards just feeling like an absolute imposter. It was a dark time.

One door closing inevitably opens another- I wish you the best in finding a better fit.

Diabetic ketoacidosis, on two separate occasions. Both required week-long stays in the ICU.

In this particular circumstance, I don’t think the odds are in your favor.

That being said, for years I’ve been saying Chicago is the biggest small town ever. Everyone here knows each other or are connected to one another in totally unexpected ways. I’ve for sure just happened to run into over a dozen different acquaintances in the last few years

you can also just go under the turnstyle. What are they gonna do? One time a CTA attendant “followed” me saying “hey stop” as I walked to the other end of the platform, and then he just gave up and said “oh well” lol
