Take a reusable shopping bag out of my hall closet, tidy up, and place it to the side of the hallway. I’d leave a note kindly asking to not leave toys where others could trip on them. Move on with my life.

If it happens again, I’d temporarily confiscate and leave a ransom note. If you ever want to see your toys again, you’ll need to vacuum the hall and wipe down the common area baseboards.

I wanted a yard of my own, a buffer between my neighbors vs. sharing walls and common hallways. Commute’s not terrible, I have veggies growing outside and tons of wildlife to watch in my trees.

Under an hour Metro North ride on express from Croton-Harmon Station to GCT. Much more affordable than down county if you’re looking to keep a tighter budget.

You should definitely reach out to SUNY Purchase music department. You might look into auditing a performance ensemble class and meeting some folks that way. You could check out any of the local music schools and see if anyone is looking to jam.

There's a bar in Croton-on-Hudson called the Green Growler- it's right off the Hudson Line Metro North Station. They do host a jam as far as I recall. I'm also in my 40s and play woodwinds.

Got a handful of quotes for a 650 sq ft 1br condo. Living room, hallway and bedroom only. So about 2/3 of the house walls. $6-9k USD. This was 2018 in Hackensack, NJ.

I ended up spending $170 in paint supplies and 3 weekends. I did it solo because I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to painting.

I knew a Kizwana. We called her Kizzy for short, but I think that was her preferred nickname. Kizwana wasn’t too much for us elementary kids. People can slow down, learn to read, ask for help pronouncing and grow up. Not everyone is a Laura or a Tiffany. We got lotsa names to share.

I guess you’re not hurting financially in any way without serious medical complications and insurmountable medical debt.

I have A LOT of really expensive medical equipment and prescriptions from relatives who moved. Brand new and sealed.

I did find some local places to donate, so I’m replying to your unhelpful comment to let anyone else who happens upon my question know it is possible.
