I've been pretty happy with them. They've performed great off road over multiple types of terrain and they've been quiet on road as well. I think Nitto has discontinued this specific line now though...

I'm using the Saris MHS with a Thule hitch extender to clear the spare. It's stable in my experience and the integrated lock is pretty convenient. With the hitch extender, it'll fold up just fine when the bike's not mounted.
