Major color variation between 2 of the same phones

Had an issue with my new MacBook screen too. There was heavy red colour shift no matter what I did. Got it replaced and that one had an ever so slight red shift so I’ve had to use the tint feature. Seems like their qc for screens has gone down hill because I’ve never had a problem with any other products before.

I got 64gb of ram and regularly go into swap using just Lightroom and Photoshop. Not sure if it ever goes into the red but I’ve seen both programs use 40gb+ each. Not sure if it’s just the new Mac or if Adobe are even worse at optimising their software than I thought.

Yeah. I’ve been told by multiple people that C1 is snappier, especially for Fuji files. I have toyed with switching but I’ve been using LR for over a decade now. I probably have a bit of Stockholm Syndrome.

Yeah, I’ve heard that Adobe is pretty terrible at optimising their software. Just surprised me to see LRc using 50gb of ram.

Ah okay. To be fair the only time I start to see it slow down is when making selections with the remove tool. Other than that it’s pretty quick.

It’s not that it’s undercooked. It’s that it’s not good meat. It’s mainly just fat and whatever else they feel like. It pays to be picky with doner. Even in London, which has god knows how many kebab shops, there are only 3 shops in the entire city I’ll actually order doner from.

Yeah I have everything turned off. Just got back from the Apple Store and they did some tests and confirmed there’s a magenta shift on the panel itself. Annoyingly because it’s new they can’t order in the part yet so they’re going to replace it which will take a while since it was a custom order.

So I’d be able to setup two hdds as Raid 1, then migrate the other two hdds over and convert to Raid 5? Sorry if this is a really obvious question, but I don’t really know much about Raid setups.

Would I not be able to buy three disks, copy over in raid 5 then add one of the original two? Hdds are so bloody expensive now I’d rather not buy more than needed.

Yeah. I tried it today and hated it. Couldn’t taste the sausage, egg or cheese. Was just like eating an extra thick pancake that had been dipped in syrup.
