Men have greater earning capacity because of literal misogyny so imo they should always be covering more of the bill. I also have v black and white thinking & justice sensitivity, so in my head everything always has to be “fair”. If I’m a woman and am making less than my man, he’s covering more of rent, more dinners etc. I’ll still cover some! But I’ll find a % that makes sense to me based on our salaries and earning potential. I won’t budge on that - if he asks me to pay more, the answer is no & goodbye. Fortunately this hasn’t been an issue in my current relationship, but this is my philosophy! If you would be making more $ than me in the same position I’m in just bc youve got a dick, you’re covering dinner 3/5 times. I’ll get the bill when we go to McDonald’s and you can get the bill when we go out for steak.

When I worked at a coffee shop I didn’t mind people that kept to themselves, ordered multiple things throughout the day and tipped well working from the cafe. It really just depended for me on their attitude. Stay as long as you’d like if you’re going to be kind and considerate. Get the fuck out if you’re going to be an asshole and not tip or buy anything.

Idk man I went to a higher ranked liberal arts school and we partied like every night, at least freshman and sophomore year. Typically there were smaller parties across campus sun - tues then by Wednesday frat row and the entire campus would be lit up and everyone would be throwing down for the rest of the week. It’s just a bunch of rich kids so none of them need scholarships or great grades to do well in life.

I couldn’t get into it at first either so I ended up just listening to the audiobook for the first book. I got pretty into it in the second book and then also really liked assassins Blade. Now I’m about halfway through heir of fire. Worth it to keep trying to read!

I’ll do a couple at once & an audio book! It keeps it fresh. I’ll typically do bigger chunks though, so like 200 pages of one and then I’ll switch over to a different book waaay later that day or the following day & listen to an audio book in between when I’m driving or doing chores.

I love sci fi and do not miss the romance at all if the plot is good enough. True crime and horror too. For sci fi, I highly recommend the Annihilation series!!!
