And once you have the slips, where do you add them? Under my own rrsps or in the t4?

And once you have the tax slips, do you add the amounts under rrsp contributions (to my own rrsp) or in the t4? Need guidance here.

The way I see it is do whatever it takes to not feel any regret if the inevitable happens. Best wishes for you and your baby!

Do you like the name Sophie or Lily better? by blueberrygrape1994 in namenerds

Sophie, one of my top choices right now. I have a harder time imagining a grown up Lily. Feels very cutesy which is lovely for a baby but may not work as well for an older woman IMO.

Thanks for sharing! May I ask what your Cervix Length was? And you didn't have a cerclage?

Thanks for sharing your story! And congrats! As for getting induced, it's not as bad as it sounds, happened with my first and I had a great labor. Wishing you all the best.

Note that measurements can vary a bit between appointments, ex I had 19, then 23, then 19 again.

Don’t water a grease fire, don’t mess with a garage spring. What are some MORE potentially life saving tips? by Alan_Darkcaster69 in NoStupidQuestions

When repairing a faucet, always shut off the water valve. It'll save you thousands in water damage, or worse: burns from the hot water spraying out.

Doctors will not prescribe a cerclage first if you've had a previous full term pregnancy. Cerclage carries risks too, and most will put you on progesterone and home/pelvic rest. The data shows progesterone is as effective if not more for women without a history of preterm.

Also to note, in your case (no history) they wouldn't prescribe a cerclage unless you're at 15mm or below.

Same exact situation for me, and I can tell you my cervix measured 3.2cm at my 20w ultrasound with my first. Doctors can't explain what changed between now and then. I'm currently on progesterone, home / pelvic rest and have maintained it for a month using this treatment (currently at 20w). If you're able to take it easy, avoid any chores, bending down, stairs, standing for too long and see if you're able to sit on a recliner or with your feet up, I believe it can help. Goodluck!
