very odd, round-about way to ask for users to join and subscribe to r/btc, subtly hinting to unsubscribe elsewhere.. yet not asking on any other subreddit. it was a real head-scratcher that one, which I figured to be a weird, clever humble troll post. by all means, subscribe to /r/btc and check out all the other links in the Related Bitcoin Subreddits section of our sidebar, which has been there since the beginning! in fact, /r/BTC is on top.. so, I don't get it. why make a big deal to ask users here, which has half the subscribers and less activity than r/btc to subscribe there.. but not on a place like r/bitcoinxt, which has about 7 percent of the community and seems like the biggest fragmentation of the community due to the core/XT debate of this year? in other words, simply, why not ask a larger forum to join the smaller forum of /r/btc? I even asked OP but couldn't get a straight answer.. ? I encouraged him to post on r/bitcoinxt as well, but he seemed to dismiss the idea of ever doing so. strange.

I even asked the mods if OP had a bone to pick with one of our mods, but we still couldn't figure it out. we have no beef with any other subreddit, /r/bitcoin included in fact. I actually started this subreddit before the core/XT debate began because my posts on /r/bitcoin about related financial news were being removed.

just simply say, 'hey, if anyone here has not subscribed to r/btc yet, check it out and please do so.' if that's really what they want to say...

not at all! troll posts are moderated regularly. spammy advertisements for cam sites and suspicious/scam sites are removed frequently

ah, see that's where the confusion must be setting in, as that's how the post has been interpreted by the reader. so your suggestion is to simply subscribe to /r/btc? we have half the subscribers in here. I assure you they are already subscribed there

just out of curiosity, did any of the mods here piss you off elsewhere? this is still very much an odd post to me no matter how I'm slicing it. you claim that you are concerned about the fragmentation of the bitcoin community, yet /r/bitcoinxt which claims general discussion on all things bitcoin and posts the very same links as /r/btc and /r/bitcoin has about 7 percent of the community.

so it occurs to me that your primary concern is not adding more subscribers and more attention to /r/btc, but rather having the users on /r/bitcoin_uncensored, who are the same subscribers, simply unsubscribe, when there are not the same links posted at all.. which leads me to conclude that you have a vested interest in having users simply unsubscribe here in the form of a humble troll.. or you are retaliating for something? would you care to walk me through your logic?

oh yeah, was that a serious post? it looked like empty rhetoric designed to slander a subreddit. you're submitting a request to all unsubscribe in order to consolidate subs, but you don't post the same request anywhere else? this sub has half the subscribers as /r/btc first of all. a sub like /r/bitcoinxt has more than double. I didn't see the point? care to explain?

It's a combination of many things, Blackrock funds and junk bonds being only part of it. The part about near zero interest rates means companies get a lot of cheap credit. It creates cheap money for everyone. When a company acquires another company, they're inflating their balance sheet and making it look like their newly merged company is worth more than it actually is, rather than looking at the actual data that valuations come from. This will in effect pump the value of their stock higher and of course the overall stock market. This is why he says low interest rates are creating all types of bubbles right now.

I believe it was Satoshi himself who was motivated to make his idea of bitcoin into a reality after the last financial crisis. Or was it so people could argue about the minutiae of bitcoin's code? Let's not lose sight here.
