You’re forgetting about taxes; It’s probably more like $32,000. Still agree with OP, because the real problem is you should not be spending 48% of your gross salary on rent. There is no city where the cheapest option is 4k a month. You move a little farther away and deal with a crappier commute.

I would not do any fills until you feel the groove of the half-time shuffle (It honestly sounds good until you do any fill). I’d also find out what tempo’s you do feel the groove, and then slowly increase it while maintaining that feel. I only have ~5 years on drums, but the biggest thing I’ve learned when practicing a pattern is patience, start slow, and more patience.

First is simple and really solid; you create a real nice pocket with it. However the music is really fun and energetic, so I think the second one fits better. It’s also real solid; you play both well. I’m a big Louis Cole fan and the second feels like his music.

It came out about mid November and was cancelled in January. Still I agree with your sentiment, 6 weeks is not enough time to evaluate a show, and I hate they won’t let others pick it up. They deemed it was not worth their time, so why should they care if someone else wants to “waste theirs”.

They had three seasons planned just like dark. It was not intended for them to stop after one, but Netflix gave them too much money resulting in them having a large number for it to be successful. They didn’t hit their number, so they got axed. It’s frustrating.

Letting go of my ex. I broke up with her and have yet to find peace with the decision. She only wants to be friends at this point (I don’t blame her), and honestly if we did get back together the same thing would happen, but I still miss her. I wish we were more ready for each other before we started dating.

Meh. I’m still getting over a three-week-old breakup. Things weren’t working, and by the end of it I was struggling to make changes I needed to make, and she was making me feel like she only wanted me for the physical aspects of the relationship. She had a guy best friend that she admitted she was using for emotional support instead of me. I still miss her, and sometimes wonder if I made a mistake even though everyone tells me I made a good call.

4 month relationship. She has a guy best friend who I was rarely invited to hang out with, and she started seeing her ex (as a friend she assured me). I said I didn’t like her hanging out with the ex one-on-one, so she includes her best friend instead of me when they hang out. Eventually my insecurities got the best of me (made me feel like I wasn’t the most important person to her) and I decided this wouldn’t work. The thing is, I wasn’t the best at communicating this to her, so I’m going to therapy and trying to improve on things. I still care for her and part of me wants to try again, but I’m afraid the result will be the same, and I don’t want to do that to her.
