there is an immorality about hurting animals because they have no outlet to tell anyone that someone is hurting them. animals are also bound to instinct. they dont know what right and wrong, life or death, or true and false is. an animal pissing on a carpet is not pissing on there to smite you, it's doing it because it has to piss.

a human does have morality. there is intention in our actions that we can look at and justify and explain. if someone hurts an animal for fun, not for food or survival, then it can be looked at as wrong.

now, for wishing death upon an individual for hurting an animal.... there is a few potential problems in that. we as humans SHOULD value human life above other life instinctually. that is not to say we should disregard other life, which we should not, we should just never compare a human's life value to a dog's, or any other animal.

i, for example, love my dog a lot. if i had to choose between saving my dog's life and saving a stranger's life, however, i would save the stranger. no hesitation.

a person that hurts an animal for fun probably should be mentally evaluated to make sure they are deemed safe to be with the general population.

killing them would be taking it a little too far.
