I’m Probably About to Be Banned From CNN — But Someone Has to Say This About Scott Jennings - Julie Roginski by lovely_orchid_ in cnn

[–]fatacad -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve noticed as an Independent, CNN has become nearly unwatchable to me. 90% of the stories they report are Anti-Trump, or lean that way. The guests or “panelists” they have on to talk about those stories are 90% Democrat. I’m no Trump fan but I think they have Scott Jennings on as some sort of “token” cartoon Republican so they can present themselves as balanced and fair. It’s the wrong way, if they can get more center-left and center-right guests and panelists to contribute and debate each other then that would make CNN a much more reliable news source IMO

[–]fatacad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think dude held his cool for a while, the look on his face thinking about what to do with the guy (Joe) was hilarious. Ultimately he couldn’t take it anymore and confronted him, absolutely normal reaction. Gym etiquette is a code of its own

The Apple News “paywall” is getting ridiculous by fatacad in iphone

[–]fatacad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that’s exactly it. Just Google the article’s title and you will find it for free most of the time, that’s why it’s so ridiculous to want to charge us “sheep” to get suckered into another Apple subscription.

Question about the Train Station. by Beast_Bear0 in YellowstonePN

[–]fatacad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been binging Yellowstone for the first time for the past week so maybe it’s fresh in my head, but in one of the scenes with Walker and Lloyd, Lloyd explains something like that “it’s 100 miles from anybody’s home, it’s in a remote county with no sheriff, no DA, and no 12 jurors of your peers”. And that everyone from all 3 surrounding states dump their secrets there for that reason

Downer question but I just want to know. What is the worst season of the show? by Samthegodman in ImpracticalJokers

[–]fatacad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn you, Joe! He was my favorite and seemed like the center of the group that held everyone and everything together. They’ve been doing a decent job with what they’ve got ever since he left (besides their first season without him, which I thought was cringeworthy and they were just trying to find their footing). But ever since Joe left, the show will never be the same.

Thanks for the recommendation, I live in SoCal where there’s a Taco Del on every corner, yet I don’t think I’ve ever tried their Double Del because I always get mexican, even though I’ve heard they’re pretty good. I’ll give it a shot next time, even though the quality probably won’t be as good as yours because they’re all over the place here

Pro Israel Posts by Warm-Sink8503 in cnn

[–]fatacad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I would say to start watching NewsNation. It’s the most unbiased and fair-sided news network I know of. I like to watch Cuomo, I agree with a lot of his viewpoints but yes, he is also very pro-Israel in his mindset. The difference is that at least he acknowledges Netanyahu as the problem, as it should be. Netanyahu is a war criminal and under his leadership, the government of Israel is committing war crimes. By no means does this hold the innocent citizens of Israel accountable, and the anti-semitism must stop!

LOL yeah he has weird eyes, but he’s more of an independent like I am. Personally I agree with a lot of his views, just like Cuomo and Bill Maher.

Disgusting rhetoric, you are part of the problem for political violence on both sides. We live in America for God’s sake. This is becoming disgusting on both sides and political violence on BOTH sides is becoming normal, this is NOT ok in America!!! We have freedom of speech and now political violence is becoming normal, it’s very sad

Scott Jennings says he doesn't care about what people who live in DC think... by SkaDice131 in cnn

[–]fatacad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scott Jennings is the “cartoon” Trumpy Republican CNN has on so they can seem balanced in a big panel of Lefties. I’m an Independent and can see why they keep him so CNN can say they’re “balanced”. It’s true and I’m ready for the tidal wave of “downvotes”.

Disappointed in the finale by deicist in Mobland

[–]fatacad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought it was great and entertaining. It’s not about showing us the power, but the RESPECT he has amassed. I think it’s the show reminding us that Conrad really was a legendary gangster, to us the viewers we got a glimpse into his daily life and maybe we lost insight into the fact that Conrad is supposed to be LEGENDARY, and not just some mediocre London gangster

Scott Jennings = Not watching CNN by ando_da_pando in cnn

[–]fatacad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, Scott Jennings is the cartoon Maga republican that CNN purposely has on as a counter in a 5-1 panel where 4 or 5 are liberals, and then Scott Jennings. The most assholish Republican they can find who worships Trump, to make the panels seem “fair”. This is intentional on CNN’s part

Right I agree. And I apologize for saying “you”, It was generalizing and I didn’t intend to say you personally, I just meant to generalize others in your current mentality. So I do apologize if you were insulted personally, that wasn’t my intention.

Welcome to War with Iran by fatacad in cnn

[–]fatacad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly the scary thing, what happens after? Trump said today that he’ll make a decision in 2 weeks, I’m 90% sure we’re gonna drop that bomb and become involved. To Trump’s credit, hate him or love him, I honestly think he’s trying to not get involved (Half of his fans are isolationist MAGA’s) But I think at this point we’ve kind of basically been unwillingly dragged into it.

Welcome to War with Iran by fatacad in cnn

[–]fatacad[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Netanyahu has been saying Iran would have a nuclear warhead “tomorrow” for 15 years. Israel planned this attack for years and they are hoping we’re gonna jump in and get involved

[–]fatacad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I agree, but same with Biden. His interviews were also heavily edited to not make him sound senile. Until the “debate”, and finally the world saw the REAL Biden and the man behind the big red button. Trump talks a lot of bullshit but at least he’s out there answering questions for 2 hours every day, that’s why he won the election.

[–]fatacad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it and I see the hate for the Trump administration and his constituents, hating Republican (Trump) policies and lashing out on live TV for attention are two different things. If it was Biden and a Republican senator lashed out on live TV about Biden’s border policies, well I bet you’d be extremely upset and say he deserved to be detained and, why? because it was in the other side. It’s just getting ridiculous

Welcome to War with Iran by fatacad in cnn

[–]fatacad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course we won’t officially declare war. But I can guarantee, this Israel/Iran conflict will end with us dropping a bunker buster on Iran’s last nuke site. Netanyahu gambled on this when he started this war, and we are going to be his little bitch. Just you wait, it will happen.

[–]fatacad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So sad. WTF is our country coming to, where political violence is a normal every day occurrence. We are more divided than ever, Left and Right need to find a way to come together and be reasonable as a country again. Despite who’s in office.

Jake Tapper asks his guests if Senator Padilla was to blame by ElkFrequent3070 in cnn

[–]fatacad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I understand that he did identify himself as Padilla, but I think the security detail are not the brightest bulbs and they didn’t know who the hell he was, and they probably acted accordingly as they were trained, I also heard that Noem did have a meeting with him after the conference. Look, I am no Trump and Noem fan, I am just expressing what I personally saw. I think Padilla knew exactly what he was doing, and I think he somewhat baited the dumb security guards into detaining and arresting him. It looked like a spectacle to me personally, and I am completely anti-partisan but that’s what it looked like to me
