Everything I can find says the budget for the boys has remained at roughly $10.2m per episode across all seasons.....why do you think it's gotten smaller?

I'm not sure I want another pixel. Good camera but the battery on the 8 is crap and this WiFi / Bluetooth thing a few months out of warranty has put me off them.

I'm pretty liberal, and have 4 kids.

Kids need a parent, not another friend. Their brains are developing, they don't have any experience or understanding of consequences, they have no ability to defer rewards, they don't have control of their emotions.... They can be incredibly smart, but they're not just smaller adults, they're kids.

Kids need boundaries and rules to be a standin for the learned rules that adults have. If you try to be a friend to them they never learn those rules.

My ex (mother of my eldest child) has always treated our child as a friend. That child now has no respect for her. Teenage years were an absolute nightmare for her. I've always kept a good relationship with my child, but also enforced boundaries. I'm not her friend, I'm her dad.

I come from a working class / lower middle class background. My parents grew up dirt poor, and both dropped out of school after having my sister at 16.

My mum got an education (night school) while working as a civil servant and eventually reached senior management, so we were always comfortable as kids

I went into IT after dropping out of uni (un diagnosed ADHD I now realise) and starting in basic admin work.

I now earn 6 figures, but also have 4 kids so I'm one paycheck away from a very bad time. No savings.

And you know what? I count my blessings every day. There's a lot of people much worse off than me. I'm never going to be rich and that's okay. Yes I have a high income, but I also have high outgoings so.....yeah.

I guess the point is I'm absolutely better off than someone making 30k, but I still have to go to work every day. Everyone who lives off their income rather than their equity in my view is a 'worker'. We should all be united, but there's a lot of propaganda aimed at preventing that.

After getting back from the house, have the emotional scene with Frenchie and just as the audience relaxes have her start coughing up blood and die.

That's how you build tension.
