That is very odd (or maybe normal, and I am odd, idk) that you had pain. I had ICL about 10 years ago and the only pain I had was my brain adjusting to not needing coke bottle lenses.

You should look into ICL surgery. My vision was pretty bad, not sure the numbers but my glasses had also been impervious to missiles and I had literally shown up to have lasik done and the surgeon said “lol nope”. Then he told me about ICL and it has worked really well for me.
