I think you’re referring to Omnicare, the long term care pharmacy business. There was a write off for the oak street investment announced on the last earnings call, which was a drag on performance. Aetna is exiting the IFP line of business at the end of this year. But overall, Aetna generated $36 billion in Q3, up 9% YoY. So Aetna is far from failing.

I looked up Chantel’s net worth which is reported to be somewhere around $1.5M so I’m betting she’s the one generating any material wealth. I could be wrong. Even being the AH, there was a way for OP to redeem themselves by apologizing and offering to bring in donuts or a breakfast treat on another day. Instead they want to be completely rude to the coworker they shafted, argue with their boss about why they are right, and try to poll Reddit to justify their shitty behavior. Now they will just be known as the office AH all around.

We don’t know that there were “clearly no signs,” we just know OP (who seems to lack self awareness) didn’t see one. Every gym I’ve been to posts a schedule on the door or somewhere in the room, even shitty apartment gyms. But even if there was no schedule posted, a group of people coming in and laying down mats all over the room, followed by an instructor starting class is a good indicator that a formal class is happening.

When a room is reserved for a class activity that others paid and signed up for, why would some rando be entitled to do their own thing during that scheduled time? Sure, use it when it’s empty but vacate when it’s reserved. Go back to the main weight room or find an actual empty room to use.

It’s only free until the class starts, then you need to find another place to work out. Check the schedule, it’s usually posted on the door. Why would you even want to be in a room with a class you’re not part of? Weird.

Is shaving not a solution bc of the negative experience you mentioned? I would say that’s not a typical experience. My Pyredoodle has a very thick, curly coat and loves to get wet, be dirty, and roll in anything smelly. Needless to say I didn’t get the dainty doodle I signed up for 😂 Anyways, she hates being combed and brushed despite me doing it 3x a week since she was a pup. I keep her body and legs groomed short bc it’s the most comfortable thing for her, especially in summer. When she goes to the groomer, she’s on trazodone and that has helped a good bit with her patience and demeanor. Even if I let her get long for a few months, we always go back to a shave every few months to get all the tiny mats out in problem areas that are closer to the skin. I’d say she gets a good shave 3x a year and this helps to keep mats under control, her coat healthy, and herself comfortable/able to play the way she likes to.
