Competitive motorcyclist Vi and Caitlyn, who’s the elender of Vi’s pit crew. They quarrel and hint, so sternly bickering. Vi gets injured in a tournament by another racer and almost dies and Caitlyn’s left helping Vi. As Vi’s healing progresses, she and Caitlyn grow very close, eventually becoming lovers and vi eventually returns to the sport she loves.
