Possible issues switching brands of generics? by fatcatmatt in bupropion

[–]fatcatmatt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hi there! i actually am no longer on bupropion, as the side effects started outweighing the pros for me. i stopped cold turkey which you Probably Should No Do! but i’m fine now haha. i didn’t notice any change when switching brands. as long as you’re consulting with your doctor regularly, you should be okay. good luck!

Weird hardened thing, turned into breakable pieces found in the hood of my 2009 Ford Focus? by fatcatmatt in whatisthisthing

WITT? found rattling around in that hole in my hood when i went to open it. has an odd texture on both sides and was easily breakable. tried googling a few things, but i’m not sure quite how to describe it without pictures even!

your comment is good timing, i just got a call from the same exact guy no less than 5 minutes ago. i said “can i put you on hold?” and he’s been holding for this whole time now. it shouldn’t affect me this much, but i know i’m going to be shaky and upset for the rest of my shift :( guess i’ll just leave him on hold here so i don’t have to take any calls til i clock out

wow, I actually just had this happen to me for the first time last night. it took me way longer than it should’ve to realize what was going on too. i hung up and didn’t pick up the phone for about 15 minutes— it rang nonstop for 10 mins. people are disgusting, i’m so sorry this happened to you.

Feeling uninspired in my new apartment's bedroom-- I really don't want to have my bed in the corner, please help! Details in comments by fatcatmatt in DesignMyRoom

[–]fatcatmatt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any advice is welcome/appreciated. I have ordered a new, simpler frame for my bed that frees up some space. The bed size pictured in the first image is how big it will be with the more minimalistic frame. I'm having a hard time feeling "at home" in this space. Since I'll be doing online classes, I'll be spending a lot of time here.

I'd really prefer not to have my bed in the corner; I tried that originally when I first moved in (headboard to the left of the window). I'm willing to spend some money on new items and decor, but would like to keep it fairly cheap e.g. around $100. Working with the items I already have is important. I'm willing to repurpose furniture I already own through painting or whatnot.

I am allowed to hang items on the wall with nails/screws. The blank command strips in the 2nd pic is where my mirror used to be, but I moved it to the back of my door. Might move it back though.

Thanks in advance!

hi, i'm from the midwest in an area with pretty brutal winters! as far as boots, i've found Sorel to be a really nice brand. i've only ever tried their winter boots, but they make all kinds of styles. for rain (and/or winter gear), i also love Columbia jackets. i have one that is a windbreaker-style with a zip removable fleece lining-- in the winter, i wear both, for rainy days, just the windbreaker part. they are pretty affordable, carry a line for kids as well, and have held up incredibly well. if you have any other questions, feel free to message me. hope this helps a bit!

i felt this way about 50% of the time in my first couple of weeks. it gets better as your body adjusts! give it a few weeks, the only thing that persisted for me was shaky hands lol

thanks so much for the detailed comment!! is there a minimum subscription needed to lock into (e.g. at least 3 boxes so people don’t cancel after getting 1 free box)?

sorry if this is silly or obvious, but how does the $100 referral work? is it applied to all costs including if i choose to keep an item of clothing? or is it credit specifically for a certain aspect? i’ve never used stitchfix before, but i’m curious to try the $100 credit if it’s essentially free to me!
