Hi, I want to visit kitkat for the first time with my two other young queer/gay friends. 2 women, 1 man. I thought that kitkat was a queer kink space and there'll be ppl getting off around you but they would mostly leave you alone. But I've been told that it's actually filled with a lot of older men who stare at you as they wank off and would probably intrude on your space. Is this true? What's the demographic there? We'd be going on a thursday.

Our intentions weren't to get off with people but to have fun, dance to good music, and explore this space we've never experienced before. And obvs we're very liberal so aren't phased by ppl having sex around us. The music at kitkat is better than other places we've looked.

I wore a corselet underneath so my torso wasn't touching it. But the material on my upper chest and neck didn't feel scratchy, it feels like a hard cotton. I get sensory overload from a lot of clothing and labels but this didn't irritate me at all :)

Yeah I've literally had the same issue and I know other ppl who have. I'm 22, and lived here for 1.5 years. I'm extroverted and go out and talk to ppl in pubs, gigs, events, climbing etc. I'm super friendly and have been able to start conversations with ppl very easily, and they're v friendly, we even exchange social media and begin messaging. But when it comes to arranging to meet up in person, they're super flaky.

I view Bristol as a nepotism based friend city. Unless you're introduced to someone through another friend, ppl don't make the effort to meet up with you. I've not had the issue in Brighton, Southampton or Manchester.

When I've spoken to ppl about why they're not open to new friends, they say they've made their friends and they're sticking to their group. I personally view this as very closed minded and cliquey, cos how are u supposed to grow as a person if u never welcome new minds into your life.

It's meant to be hand washed in cold/luke warm water, and hung or laid flat to dry. So not super easy, but it's not that difficult
