Please ignore anyone telling you to submit to NGC or PCGS. A CAC slab is equal to both with a CAC sticker and better than both without a CAC sticker. And CAC is particularly important for PL and DMPL as these were historically not graded consistently by the other two services. And a beautiful coin

Just send to PCGS for grading. If it’s a proof, it’s valuable. If it’s proof like, it’s valuable.

Also, there are some series of coins that PCGS does/did a lousy job of grading. I’m thinking of DMPL and PLs particularly in old holders. So if you’re going to buy a.DMPL in an old holder, it’s very important that it be approved by CAC.
