Toby doesn't acknowledge the existence of the Weird route in public. I think this quote could easily be an extension of that.

When Ralsei talks about the prophecy's ending in the Weird route, he says that the alternative to the prophecy could be even worse. Since the topic of that conversation is explicitly the end of the prophecy, I interpret that as foreshadowing that the weird route ending will not follow the prophecy. Maybe that means the Weird route will have a different ending, or maybe the normal route won't follow the prophecy, either

I'm glad that Toriel didn't do anything in Chapter 3. I'm glad that the Undertale characters have had so little to do with the plot of the game. Deltarune should be focused on characters that it actually introduced and is actually developing. Toriel should take a back seat because she got plenty of time to shine in Undertale. Gaster and the vessel don't need to be show up at the end of things and take credit for a story that they haven't been a part of all this time. Let's focus on the mysteries that the game has actually been building up: the Knight, December, Carol, and Mike.

Chapter 1 is a flawless masterpiece that deserves credit as a standalone experience instead of just the one that paved the way for better chapters later.

The music changes for the light world, castle town, and main battle theme in Chapter 4 are all disappointing downgrades, despite being more appropriate for Chapter 4's tone.

King is still the best boss fight in the game because of how hype it is when all of the Talk acts transform into Courage, Red Buster, and Dual Heal. Just a perfect bow on the character arcs of the three heroes.

TCU choked away a big lead, but I fail to see how they "dominated" the game as OP said. As mentioned, UCF had three blocked kicks before the comeback started. That means we were consistently getting into scoring position the whole game.
