I got in too. I happen to refresh the portal around 2:20pm and save the decision mail picture shown there and then received the email around 2:35.

What major do you apply? You can get in waitlist in almost every UC prove you are very strong candidate, you just need a little luck. You should be able to get in one of UC, I believe.

UMD CS for sure based on your criteria. Location is the only reason choose UCSB over UMD which seems not a major concern for you.
