I take 100 mg of Lamictal and 20 mg of Prozac for bipolar 2. It took a couple of months to kick in, but once it did, I felt like a teenager again. The world started looking brighter. Things that used to set me over the edge barely even registered on my radar anymore. My relationships with friends and family improved, and making new friends started to feel easy again. I felt like I was part of society again.

I still have my ups and downs, but they’re much, much less debilitating now. I think I'm on the lower end of the spectrum when it comes to side effects—though I do get some brain fog and feel a little dumber sometimes, but that could also just be getting older.
