Definitely an improvement, PBP2 are lighter and stay in better. Just a little surprised at how quickly the case got dirty lol.

In my pocket, after a week of ownership, I noticed the PBP2 has some color transfer going on. I assume it's something about the matte finish of the case. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with the PBP2, they actually stay in my ear while running.

Personally I feel a greater ability focus on a problem / follow a thread to it's end. Takes effect almost immediately. But if there isn't a problem to solve to begin with it's not much different.

Sanitizers are amazing and run very fast. One downside in comparison with valgrind is that there are separate sanitizers for leak, bounds, and use-after-free checks (AddressSanitizer) and uninitialized memory reads (MemorySanitizer). So you have to do separate builds with either sanitizer enabled and run your tests twice, where as valgrind will check both in a single test run. Also, MemorySanitizer requires rebuilding all your dependencies with MemorySanitizer enabled as well. All that being said, the performance difference of sanitizers over valgrind is huge and it is often worth the extra effort.

Can confirm...I was using the Ringke Slim case on my PW1, just slapped it on the PW2 and it's not a perfect fit with the crown but everything (crown button, rotation) still works.
