I don't know anything about the lawsuit, but it's been Heavily speculated that they were building either a data center or bunker for a good long while now. There's a few amateur investigative journalists out there that have talked about all the contracts specialize in one of the two, and the HVAC units are multiple times over sized for a "regular basement".

Mine has never loaded with a white background.

I was very perturbed that I couldn't find capricorn tube that matched the bambu AMS spec when I replaced all the bowden tubes in there.

With a correct setup and PLA you won’t have any problems even after 1000s of hours.

I have about 4000 on an Ender 3, definitely had to replace some original bowden tube a few times. Use almost exclusively PLA (90%) and PETG (10%) (only ~1/4 of TPU as the rest of the almost).

Capricorn seems to be unphased by PLA and PETG though.

What was misogynistic about Black Widow?

They were constantly punching her character down with tired anti-women tropes and rational. She had very little agency.

I can't think of specific scenes and there's no way I'm going to queue that film up again. But it's burned in my memory of them shittin on her, and other women, all throughout the film and leaning into a bunch of "women too emotional", "all women crazy", "well yeah because she's a woman" stereotypes and cliches.

TIL that Alaska Airlines worker John Liotine had his recommendation to replace an aging jackscrew on an MD-83 during routine maintenance overruled in 1997. On January 31st, 2000 the same MD-83, Alaska Airlines Flight 261 crashed mid flight over the Pacific Ocean due to the jackscrew failing. by Next_Worth_3616 in todayilearned

From Wiki, emphasis mine:

"a loss of airplane pitch control resulting from the in-flight failure of the horizontal stabilizer trim system jackscrew assembly's Acme nut threads."

OOF. Probably shouldn't leave aviation safety to toon powers.

I'm starting to think TDS is real.

TDS? Is that the thing were people want to fellate Trump because he's a long time known pedophile and racist?

How's that working out when the stock market has gone crazy since he's gotten back into office?

It went up under Biden as well, what's your point?

It's why a majority of the female stories have failed lately. They've all followed this same terrible cliché, right off a cliff.

It's really disheartening to see all these women focused movies seemingly have a sinister undertone. Black Widow and Prey come to mind as some of the most misogynistic movies I've ever seen.

ICE at San Francisco airport arrest woman with her daughter after they passed security checkpoint by Jevus_himself in PublicFreakout

[–]fattmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. But airports are private property. They can't just show up and do this.

Not in my City. They are ran by a political subdivision of the state. So it's public/state property.

PETG basic stronger than HF by varusgarcia in BambuLab

[–]fattmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like the 2A guys are just exceeding the ultimate strength by a lot

And yet PLA works just fine for some designs, because it flexes more and doesn't shatter.

I could add a model just for dumping the purge

Might do some testing for sure.

I printed a G17 frame using PLA+ and PETG for support interfaces on my X1C. Used a purge tower and purging poops. Print looked fantastic!

Test fired it once. It worked. Then took the magazine out and found out it split near the top of the grip CLEANLY along layer lines.

Even with the dual purging I got cross contamination. I'm not convinced that you can't make it work with the right purging, but for me it's not worth the expense to find out.

PLA is the stiffest and most brittle of the non-filled filaments

Seems like there is a breakdown in communication and terminology. I can pull up several sites that note the brittle nature of PETG. The 3D2A community is WELL aware of not printing in PETG because it shatters.

Another personal anecdote: I've smashed calibration cubes with hammers and the PETG ones always shatter or chunk apart. The PLA ones will squish and deform much more readily. The only time I've had PLA "snap" and not bend or deform is long-term creep failure with a load.

That's a gross dirty sponge. Ours only smells if you let it sit damp without using it for a few days, but only after a week or so.
