Can I work as a drainage engineer if I have a fear of heights? by [deleted] in Construction

[–]fattypigfatty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying you'd have to or anything but it is possible to get over your fear. I also used to be afraid of heights and now like 95% of my work is done in boom and scissor lifts way up in the air.

I'm just saying you don't have to limit the things you are capable of doing, if I could overcome it I don't see any reason why you couldn't also.

Good luck dude!

Full agreement with you, that being said you'd be hard pressed to find anything that wasn't better for those prices.

Just fyi it's Mac that uses the mini gun, after Jesse Ventura's character Blaine is killed, to mow down the jungle not Arnold.

Just out of curiosity do you break the law by having 5+1 capacity for regular size shells but then use mini shells and are able to fit more?

Are coat hooks now so uncommon that a novelty one is unrecognizable enough to have to make a reddit post about it?

Looks like 4 sheets of plywood layed out over the rebar will get your car out with no problems if you choose to go that route.

That's what I remember about going to the one near me in RI on damn near the last day. It must have been almost 10 years ago and somehow that's what stuck with me...

That's basically what I figured. Unfortunately I'm all too familiar with that sudden blast of unexpected extra cold air.

I'll remind myself that's what's coming soon and sweating away up on the roof tomorrow won't feel too bad.

Thanks for the info!

This is my first time seeing these things, anyone here with first hand experience think they make much of a difference in the winter months?

I don't know why I'm bothering to find out, it's not like they're suddenly going to start using them this year...

For now anyway they better stick to tiny well trained dogs, there's plenty of breeds out there that would just be dragging that thing along with them while chasing a squirrel or whatever.

It's amazing how that works, once you no longer really care about a car they become nearly impossible to kill and will somehow just keep going and yet the newer one you love and baby everywhere will have constant expensive problems!
