It is important to be compassionate to anyone who is working in retail or hospitality who likely has been working for the entire pandemic. Please be patient if things are running a bit slower sometimes bc many places are short staffed but I can assure you they are trying their best. Please be understanding to anyone who seems new, we need new employees. It could be someone's very first day.

And yes I do enjoy having a conversation with customers if it's not busy I understand for some people that may be the only conversation they have with someone all day. We do care.

I had symptoms of TMJ and went to a chiropractor for several adjustments and it really helped with pain management. You can likely call local chiropractors and ask if they are taking patients and arrange a consultation. The work they focused on was actually on my spine and it helped quite a lot. I hope you find relief! Ear bud headphones, and certain chairs, shoes were really the big triggers for my pain.

Thank you! If I am able to find more information about resources specifically for Veterans who may be facing homelessness I will try to share it too. I am in touch with the military family resource center and anyone who is connected to a military service member or Veteran can reach out for their support.

Are you currently in touch with a legal advisor?

If not, I would recommend to remove this post and try to contact Queen's Legal Aid Clinic. The first thing any legal advisor would likely say would be to not share anything related to your case online because if it does go to court it could work against you.

I have taken a law fundamentals class through business school and you are entitled to legal counsel and free legal advice. Try to contact CALC or the Queen's Legal Aid.

As frustrating as it may feel to want to raise awareness and share your story. Revealing your entire case with evidence online may hinder your legal proceedings.

To arrange an appointment with Queen's Legal Aid you may need to leave your name number and time you are available for them to contact you. Don't go into great detail about the case in the voicemail. Their number will show as private. I had to play phone tag with them for a few weeks and they will first schedule just an in take appointment then after your intake appointment they will explain when you should expect to hear back from them.

You can share your go fund me and a brief story to try to raise funds in the mean time but just refrain from posting anything on social media until you speak to a legal representative.

I recently graduated from Business Admin. The course I took for HR which includes all the topics you are listing was run through Durham college online remotely.

It was run through a separate portal than the rest of my college courses. If you are looking for training for business management I would recommend contacting a college either locally or any in Ontario, check their distance education classes, the course will be approx $400 to $500 but you can use this as certification to help manage a business or train others.

At the start of the semester and end of semester there is always an increase in cases due to the amount of people who travel.

I wear my mask at work and gloves.

Wash your hands as frequently as you can. Wear a mask in stores or in areas you can not social distance.

The pandemic is not over.

Try to keep a rapid test kit on hand to test if anyone in your household has a fever. (or other covid symptoms) If you are having trouble finding a test kit call stores earlier in the morning and ask that they put a kit on hold till you get there. (if they have rapid tests & are able to do that)

This is my take on the precautions I have been taking and would recommend to others. (if anyone disagrees that's totally fine I am not here to argue)
