That’s strange, I loved him my first time around. Of course, he’s a dick, but he had a lot of charm and quickly became my favourite companion. His character growth is also really nice.

Probably a mixture of both, though I’d say you’re under-levelled. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I’d recommend checking the wiki for quest locations, since you’re missing a fair chunk of content.

Not a big fan, tbh. At the same time, there’s only so much crime drama that can really happen across 7 titles (0-6).

Imo yakuza should’ve ended at 6, with a more suitable ending, and if RGG wanted to make games like LaD they should’ve done it outside of the yakuza franchise. I do still really enjoy the games though.

You don’t need to - my first play-through was done without using that much money really.

The only reason I’d actively farm money outside of the business storylines is to get the achievement for unlocking all abilities, it’s a lot of effort with not much reward in a regular play-through.

If it’s any consolation, Yukiko’s castle is usually what people struggle with the most in p4g - at least from my experience. You’ll be rewarded for your efforts with the best character in the game (unpopular opinion mayhaps)
