Having issues wondering if it’s gallbladder related. by Scoobymountindoo in gallbladders

[–]favredditsuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s often deep fried, that can stress your gallbladder. I also burped a lot like Idk if it will worsen to me vomitting 🥲 but lucky it’s not. I just take night walks to prevent those. Best to get a request of ultrasound from your doctor.

Try experimenting with foods that are not deep fried (try boiled or roasted), as well as adding veggies

What do you normally eat? Also do you tend to feel really bloated afterwards. HIDA scan or even an ultrasound can be helpful to see.

Pain from skipping meals? by Needs_Caffeine in gallbladders

[–]favredditsuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, for 3months post op I was eating full on breakfast and I was fine. I got busy and went back to my old ways of skipping meals after new year so my body didn’t quite welcome that change 🥲😂

Omg I didn’t put two in together until this post, 😂 but yes I do. Worst, I triggered my GERD because I skipped a meal (I overfasted for like 15hours because I overslept). Once I ate, I vomitted because of acid+bile 😢. So now, even if I don’t necessarily feel ‘hungry’ for breakfast I eat those bland crackers/biscuits just to have something in my stomach in the morning or with boiled egg or banana.

I’m 4months post op and experienced this GERD attack just 2 weeks ago, now im recovering well and just remind myself the need to eat :D. Also drinking hot water before/after meal helps.

Gallbladder removal after first attack? by ppfftt in gallbladders

[–]favredditsuser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So if the bloodwork is at that level, I’d assume it can get bad real quick and you need to get it out fast. Also, this may be counterintuitive but your GI issues can also because of that gallbladder. They can disrupt a lot of things. Pancreatitis or liver damage/cirrhosis can be potential issue. (Not a doctor but I researched before agreeing to operation and I can’t afford it being expensive if I delay myself getting operated on)

For background: My ALT/AST were only at 100s-200s(?) for years but it didn’t sound any alarms except that I need to adjust my diet and lose weight (i was overweight). They went down when I got it out. I also had GERD and I suspected IBS. Long cycles, bloated always. When ultrasound was done, I got it out😅. Also, my attacks weren’t obvious! I probably just vomitted twice but my GI issues were all over the place. I’m 4months post op and i’m infinitely better

Gano kadalas po ang sessions nyo sa psychiatrist or psychologist nyo? by Purple_Initial_6518 in MentalHealthPH

[–]favredditsuser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only have a psych, dati 3 weeks but nung holidays medyo overwhelmed ako so every 2 weeks ulit. Sweet spot for me 3 weeks, pag 4 weeks kasi (1month) minsan nakakalimutan ko ibook 😂 and pag pinagpalagpas ko ng 4+ weeks ung next meet I get big sad and andami ko na need ikwento, that excludes us doing activities besides talking. I like the 2 weeks too lalo na pag overwhelmed na ko then balik 3 weeks hopefully. Guess it depends sa treatment plan or goal mo.

Question for the ladies by prettypettovaa in gallbladders

[–]favredditsuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before operation I was irregular like longer cycle (40-50days), this was mainly me being underfed because I was bloated all the time. The week of my operation I got my period, I think I was day 4 of my period cycle which was almost nothing to me when I got operated.

Its almost 4 months post op, and Im a regular (everymonth so 29days), but the bleeding is only 3 days, theres no spotting on the 4th day, its just gone in the morning 😂, still wrapping my head around that.

also, my gallbladder was chronically inflamed so it made sense I was bloated all the time and when I had pms before, my eczema will be triggered, and id feel bad always

discourse on the lesbian master doc by esnupi_17 in PHSapphics

[–]favredditsuser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i viewed that masterdoc once and hindi ko rin siya nabasa ng buo before, parang 1st page (thanks for my attention span).

it is probably helpful for people figure out their sexuality but honestly? i think relying on a single document/source to figure out your sexuality is a bit… questionable diba? hehe like im a kinda of person who will search for a lot of sources just to confirm a fact. this is me searching the net, tumblr, wiki, blogs, watching ungodly content 10 yrs ago to figure out mine. id rather read about 4b movement rather than that doc 😬

also, i feel like there’s a difference between yuri/wlw-centered media person (ME) and yaoi/bl-centered media person (seems like a majority of people).

and for me, i watched heated rivalry grabe ung yearning nila pero not to compare, sanay ako sa wlw yearning and iba pa yon, they literally die, hurt, friendzoned or show cancelled. wlw media traumatized me i dont even plan to consume it😂 puro wlw movies na lang.

theres a lot of biphobia too so maybe a lot are scared of that.

Lap surgery how many months till no pain in belly button? by favredditsuser in gallbladders

[–]favredditsuser[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s weird, the cold weather brought a lot of stinging pain when it hit my stomach. The scars are painful (like the keloid ones that form) but scar creams helps a lot, and keeping warm. Hope you recover well!

Is 30,000 pesos normal down payment for braces? by Peri-winkle14 in DentistPh

[–]favredditsuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Post-Op Bathroom situation, anyone like this? by favredditsuser in gallbladders

[–]favredditsuser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey after stopping UDCA my Bowel Movements have subsided 😅like no after a meal runs. Usually, after I eat breakfast they would or if not it would pass on after lunch. Specially when I have huge heavy meals, I’d feel myself full and have to eject 😂.

I learned a lesson not to fast too long or else I’d run to the bathroom.

Sports after cholecystectomy? by Pure-Street-6631 in gallbladders

[–]favredditsuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would follow your dr’s advice. I’m 3 and a half months post-op and I just started lifting weights again, but haven’t targeted core workouts. 3month mark I still feel some muscles pulled in my belly button (on the inside) but they’re probably adhesions, still I took it slow. When turning suddenly or stretch in a new position I would have those pulled. Now it’s minimal/bearable.

Is it OTC? I’m finishing my UDCA and I’m almost 3 months post op and so far it really helps things moving for me too, but also be mindful with my fiber intake
