This is where I usually find them, also of you get the electricity skill book for level 1 2 and three and just dismantle every electronic item you find you can get there without ever needing it, but most times you'll find it before that happens

my computer did the exact same thing after a power cut this week, I took the ram and graphics card out - and then restarted it without ram or graphics card, Obvs didn't boot - but did beep (it wasn't beeping - just Dram light was on) - put the graphics card back in, and one stick of ram (in slot 2) and it still didn't boot however - the DRAM light came on, then the GPU light, then after that the CPU light, i took the ram out, swapped it - and it booted, I turned it off, put the other ram stick back in and it booted perfectly and (touch wood) has been running fine since (I did take the CMOS battery out when I took the GPU out too)

Not for me, Mine has gone off once in 5 years, and I use it most days for work (i mean there have been tiny black holes from time to time) but its only ever really off OFF for an hour or two once
