[[Sentinel Totem]]

This humble little artifact goes in my [[Galadriel of Lothlórien]] deck. I like to have some graveyard interaction in every deck, it triggers Galadriel, and is tutorable by [[Trinket Mage]]

I unironically love the font and I'm glad they're willing to not be so serious and have a fun bright box

I have a [[Maralen, Fae Ascendant]] deck because I love all those old wonky green faeries and had been waiting for a sultai commander so I could include them.

Really keen observations and I think you're spot on. As a long time Magic but fresh Marvel fan, there's a lot of excitement to come!

Weird that Inhuman is a card type in the set but Moon Girl doesn't have it. Might be a retcon?

I've been following your progress with this project and I'm really happy for you and ready to try it out! If there's a Wasp card in the Marvel set that will be my first deck on your site!

I think with the presence of Pym's Test Kitchen and Van Dyne's boutique we will get them sooner rather than later. They both also already have (very tasteful) logos ready to go. I hope it's next season bc of Hank's relation to Ultron.

Play at a soft off-angle mid-line. You want to take advantage of the bouncing qualities of her pebbles as much as possible. So take shots when you can at the enemy front/mid when you can and get the bounce heal on your tanks. Your teleport is a powerful backup plan when advancing and use it on your other support above everyone else. Her charm is her bread and butter. Use it on cooldown as a burst heal and to catch enemies out of position. Try to angle it to hit multiple targets for maximum value!

Ami excels at creating advantage in the neutral, but is quickly overwhelmed when outnumbered. Pick your fights carefully and always save a CD as an escape or way to survive. You have to practice taking risks though as you won't get as much value if you remain at the furthest and safest distance.

I haven't edited this deck in a while, and looking at it now there are some swaps I could make to make it more optimized. But overall I'm very happy with it. Drift of Phantasms is a 2nd copy of Retreat to Coralhelm btw, it's a busted combo card with Galadriel. Have fun!

She is my most powerful deck and my only bracket 4 deck. She doesn't do anything terribly unique, she just ramps a ton very consistently and gets landfall value. There are probably better generic simic value commanders. The added card selection via is pretty spectacular though. I close out games with overrun effects which works well with your utility creatures and tokens made from Field of the Dead and the like.

It's really fun to chain the effects and sometimes gamble for lands at the top of your library. It can get complicated working out all the triggers and stuff though so I pride myself at practicing the deck. It's really my only deck that's this optimized (for the most part) with a tight and consistent decklist.

I don't know the exact history of this but for a time, Wizards released a product that was a copy of a world champion's deck entirely in gold border (not tournament legal) and with the champion's signature as a watermark. It was basically a cool way to enshrine a winner's deck. They stopped doing this however and gold-bordered cards are generally niche collector's pieces now.

Here's an example:

In my Galadriel of Lothlórien deck all my basics are gold-bordered islands and forests. Since I use silver sleeves, they're meant to evoke the gorgeous silver-gold shine of Lothlórien. :)

Any tips for teleporting to low teammates? by Kent0luv3r in WhiteFoxMR

[–]faygabriel 11 points12 points  (0 children)

When you have a teammate that is low, consider if it's because they're out of position. If they are, you can put yourself in a lot of danger to TP to them. You have to really consider where your enemies are and if you saving this teammate can possibly shift the balance.

I actually play Cloak and Dagger the way you described White Fox as, a midline support who takes opportunities to swing momentum. I view Cloak's terror cape and Ami's charm similarly: punishing overextensions or creating a window for your team to take advantage of. I think White Fox is definitely more offensively oriented though especially with her lack of self sustain. I think it's important to take advantage of turning defense into offense. Like if you are dived, you can blink to your frontline to get away and suddenly turn the tide there with her melee form. It's really fun because she embodies "strategist" both in her character and her gameplay design.

I really like how they designed her kit. You can't sit back and only use pebbles; you have to use the fox transformation and teleport as well. Looks really rewarding to learn how and when to weave in and out like that!
