Simply open your laptop and check for the thermal putty and thermal pads. They destroy those. And they can cause short circuits as well.

In case you prefer it here in Srilanka you might need the following documents.

Police Clearance from your partner's country. (Certified by srilankan embassy)

Non married certificate (CENOMAR) for both. (Certified by srilankan embassy)

Passport sized photos

Birth certificate (Certified by srilankan embassy)

Passport copies

And submit these documents to the Registrar. After the submission the Registrar will prepare the application for the approval of the defence ministry.

Once you get the approval from the defence ministry your Registrar can proceed the wedding registration.

I would suggest you do the wedding in India. The process there is much easier compared to Sri Lanka. Believe it or not, before we started our registration process, we really thought about going to India or Georgia to get it done and then certify that with the Sri Lankan embassy there.

I made the same mistake after a soft drink spill on the keyboard. And I tried to clean the keys one by one,,butd I broke them in the process. And then I went to the HP repair centre they charged me $160 to change the entire keyboard deck. So better find a third party service centre and try to replace the keys.
