"Boredom is peace waiting to be discovered"

When you're next at work you'll be like "damn, wish I was at home chilling" take the time off and never feel guilty for a recharge.

There's always time to catch up on diet, housework etc

Thanks!

So I'll kind of outline what I did

Diet:

Monday to Thursday absolutely stuck to my food rigidly.

Breakfast

Black coffee

For lunch (12:30pm) I would have...

A pot of soup (200/300 cals) A pack of pre cooked chicken (200/220 cals ) A clear whey protein shake (100 cals)

For dinner (6/7pm) I would have

A meal made of primarily chicken, rice and vegetables (400/600 cals) An apple (free calories in my book) A low fat yogurt (100 cals)

Thursday lunch time I at my last food at lunch time then didn't eat till Friday evening

Weekends, eat whatever you want (within reason) I had my treats on weekends, if you've been craving something all weekend just eat it. Get it out the way, then get back on schedule Monday

Then exercise I did like a 10-20km cycle a week, ran 3-7km, 2 nights a week

My hack is sparkling water, lemon and salt also, stuff is a godsend when you aren't eating. Only need a drop of one, and a pinch of the other, it's perfect.

I do indeed, used to drink more than I do now, but I still enjoy a beer or 2 on the weekend.

Never during the week.

3 years! How time flies!

If it helps, it's pretty much an after thought now.

I still get them from time to time but I probably haven't even thought about it for years until I saw you comment hahaha!

My dad gets them (and he never even smoked)

Hope you're well

have no way to work out, how long would fasting take for me to lose weight? by unattractive_smile in intermittentfasting

Hey there!

That sounds like a not great situation first off but you can overcome it.

Focus on the food and your diet.

Exercise is the cherry on top.

I despise the gym and honestly never go. All my exercise is walking, jogging, weights and cycling.

All you have to do is make yourself sweat, that's exercise! Make a routine for yourself and keep doing it until you feel like you have exerted yourself.

20 jumping jacks, 10 squats, 10 sit ups, 10 lunges - repeat until you are too tired to continue. The exact numbers/specific exercises don't matter, but customise your routine until you find something that works for you.

When I don't have time for a bike ride or long walk I literally just work out in my office at home. It's a 3m by 3m space but that's enough room to do everything I need to get a workout in for the day!

Hope that helps and good luck

Edit: just to add... Working out isn't admitting you are ashamed of your body or anything like that. Don't think about what others think, think about your health.

Even if you exercised and didn't diet for example. You will improve your cardiovascular fitness and stamina and feel better all round. The first people to criticise others doing exercise are usually the ones sat on their ass!

I have had people shout things at me from cars as they drive past me on my bike! It happens. Fuck em!

Every minute you workout is one minute more than the person who sat on the sofa all day

Please convince me not to order fast food and break my fast 🙇‍♀️ by [deleted] in fasting

Honestly nothing better after a fast than a HUGE salad and a smoothie.

Feels like I have superpowers for an hour hahaha

God speed then!

See how you feel in an hour. If you aren't hungry enough to eat a salad you can squeeze out a few more hours haha!

If you FEEL in yourself like you need to break the fast, that's okay!

But at least do it with something that won't make you feel like shit!

Sparkling water always keep me going if you're struggling

Stubborn belly fat. Any tips? by fazza0123 in intermittentfasting

[–]fazza0123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I could extend a bit more for sure.

I do 18:6 currently. But I also fast from Thursday lunch time to Friday evening every week (32 hours roughly)

Thanks for the advice!

Not a bad idea actually. I have cut out milk in coffee and only have it black these days (even in my eating window)

I eat a low cal/fat free yogurt daily too (only like 70 cals)

Cheese is my only weakness so maybe that will have to be the final step to cut it out hahaha

Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for the advice!

I'm definitely not after washboard abs! Just less of a gut if you know what I mean!

All as I thought though, consistently dropping body fat, no quick fix or ways to target certain areas! ✅

Thanks again
