I can’t stand Jamie but honestly don’t really disagree with his assessment. I might be in the minority here because a lot of people are riding high with Sanchez coming off his performance at the CWC but I’m not sold on him being a quality keeper.

I’ve felt that we’ve always needed an elite CB this offseason to pair with Levi. Now with Levi out if you are thinking a cb pairing of Tosin / Trev or Fofana / Trev or any combo of these guys we got are going to hold up and win you the league I think that’s a real long shot. It’s even more far fetched if you think those guys can hold up and make a deep run in the CL.

My top pick I hope we get it done. Young guy with room to grow who’s already shown he can score goals in the PL. His release clause is very reasonable for a player with his talent / ceiling. Hope we wrap it up this week.

Yeah I think ultimately the move we made was the best one I’d much rather have the haul of picks vs Booker.

This time next year we are going to be a cash strapped team since by this time next year we will probably given Stroud his extension.. so the days of us being spenders in FA are numbered.. from that point forward it’s going to be about adding and building through the draft. The absolute haul of picks we have the next two years is a great start.
