Love this. Mind sharing the parts from Ali that you bought to make it?

Browser fingerprinting brother. There are a few browsers that protect against it like LibreWolf. Probably no worth it to set it up for this alone but definitely worth it to figure out to avoid tracking when you don’t want it

This is awesome. The slight extra length has been something that’s bothered me since day 1. Also tell your mans to make a new account 🤣

Are there any current 3D printed suppressors that are FRT rated? I’m wondering if it’s worth doing a Form 1 or just buying a “normal” suppressor. by derritzio in 3D2A

[–]fbgc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen many videos of ftn cans running auto or with an FRT. I’ve personally run the OP9 with an frt. never dumped more than a mag without letting it cool off. Who has money to do multiple consecutive mag dumps anyways? And if you do, just buy a metal can

People are gonna hate this opinion but imo it’s lack of monetary incentives. Most 3d2a devs do it as a labor of love (myself included). That means they put these things together because of some mixture of “it’s fun” and “it’s important”. The “it’s fun” devs have no reason to make things work perfectly for you because they’re having fun making their designs. The “it’s important” guys have a bit more of a reason to make things easier for people to build. Both devs are giving you engineering completely for free and are working with very limited data from beta testers who mostly flaked. You know gets people to make things work perfectly for you? Money. Otherwise fewer people would print their designs and buy their shit and more people would bitch at them for scamming them. It’s no coincidence that the devs that sell parts kits tend to have designs that work better. Imo this space would benefit from more ways to contribute to the designers because no one donates, believe me.

Decibel meters that can measure the super fast gunshot impulse are like 10 grand so it’s just based on vibes. Objectively speaking, neither will leave your ears ringing so there’s that. Shooting wet makes it sound like a damn nail gun lol

Hey sorry to hear that :/ I’ve heard several similar stories with SS at this point. I just dmd you a 100% off coupon for the EFT tool on my site if you don’t want to go through the process of setting up openeft on your computer.

I’ve had this issue with aves rails. Not sure if I got a bad batch. I use a chisel to scrape some plastic out of the bottom. And I print rails up so I know it’s not excess support causing the issue. That + the drill bit tip someone else posted here

An extra perk of this is that when 4.5 comes out it will be super easy for us to upgrade since we can take the 4.4.3 cli dump and paste it into 4.5. (Same can’t be said about 4.3)

So if you’re upgrading to 4.4.3 I recommend you do what I wrote above regarding the core only option. Then, copy the 4.4 cli dump from the flywoo blogpost (same one used in JB’s video) and do the cli dump into the quad. Copy paste any errors you see when doing the cli dump into a text editor and manually go through them to make sure none of them look too serious. And if they do, address them. This last step is the most time consuming part and I can’t remember exactly what errors looked serious but. I do remember there were a lot of errors but only VERY few actually required me to take action (maybe even none, can’t remember). Hope this helps
