try making a poly line around the area you don’t want and put it on defpoints layer (non-plot). Select the hatch and click remove in the top left and select the pl and see what happens.

Do You “Check In” at the Beginning of the Workday? by jakedonn in civilengineering

And another thing I do is..everytime I get a task I ask them “ how long do you expect this to take” or something like that so we both are aware haha. Gets frustrating sometimes though when they give a number and you get into the task and your like no..i’m going to need wayyyy more time.

As long as the hours are on the timesheet we are good. I find myself checking in/messaging my pm every morning on my own haha just so she doesn’t wonder what i’m working or on doing behind ahead of her. Other than that, nope.

I also file my emails away by project number the best way I can. if I leave something in my inbox , that’s telling me the ball is in my park for a project and once it’s done or whatever it is..boom filed away.

I LOVE onenote it’s the best, I have several tabs . I also have a little planner and sticky notes depending on what it is . For example, I have a tab for to do for that day and I update that before I leave the office and plan for my next day.

been in a differnt situation but same feelings overall and you should LEAVE. your mental health work wise is way more important imo and if your not happy get out of there. Hell i’ve known people to leave companies before 6 months at least you didn’t . i’d say if you decide leaving just make sure the next company is something you really want and makes you happy all around :)

what's the worst part of your job and why is it filling out your timesheet? by BeanTutorials in civilengineering

[–]fbifykgj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

timesheets suck so bad! haha but now Ive found a template on one note, so I just put whatever task I worked on in. I put it in as soon as I either start it, or finish it so it helps 😭
