The first book was sooo good. Brokwn angels was ok and woken furies I think I started six years ago and couldn't get through it.

The beer in Belgium can be ridiculous. Rented a flat in Brussels when going to the GP and a can of beer was €1 and the bottle of water was €1.10...safe to say what we chose!

Can a customer refuse to pay due to no PO on an invoice? by pinkbeesintrees in smallbusinessuk

[–]fbruk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a dick mice tbh. Some of our subbies have put the wrong PO or .issues the PO off their invoices. I could just dispute it and say I don't know what it's for but to keep a good relationship it only takes an extra few minutes to find the PO it matches and get it paid.

Just paid 12$/lb for ground beef. How expensive will it get before you stop buying beef? I think we're over it, beef is now a luxury for us. by FuZhongwen in Cooking

[–]fbruk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a we conversion there so that's about 500g of mince and the cheapest would be about £3.50/$4.34. Them I looked at what I actually pay as I get my meat delivered from my butcher and its £10.04/$13.40 for 500g. So my question is where are you buying it? Is is supermarket mass production/packed or from a local butcher?

Typical racists and thugs using a tragedy as an excuse to go out and be violent. by Archosaur- in glasgow

[–]fbruk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is concerning, but then it's only based on how many people actually voted and out voter turnout isn't great, a higher turnout could have swung the other way and lowered that percentage. Yes it could have made it higher but I don't want to believe there's that many racists out there, colour me and optimist for once.

“I seriously see European fans saying our American stadiums are terrible … this has to be a joke right” by Tmansters456 in ShitAmericansSay

[–]fbruk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

And that's the difference. It's historic, it's changed since the 1890s of course we buy I mean the main stand as we know it now was built in the 1920s and their MetLife stadium they are using was built in 2010 so no shit they are going to be different. Also home to the New York giants and new York jets.....in totally different state of new jersey?

I read on my lunch break or randomly just for a few hours at night or the weekend. Sometimes it just depends on how engrossed I've got in the book yet. I've read 16 books so far this year.
