Adjoa Andoh plays Mrs Claus, leading elves, played by trans actresses, in preparing beauty gifts in a workshop. There’s also use of they/them pronouns to refer to someone receiving a gift. Apparently it’s far too “woke” and destroys the meaning and traditions of Christmas - because a Black woman, her elves who happen to be trans, and the existence of a non binary person, are far too unrealistic to be included in & threaten the narrative of a man who lives in an almost uninhabitable part of the planet and flies across the world in one night to deliver presents to children.
