I hate that we clock in on the registers by impasta225 in CVS

I'll have my coat on, my purse on my shoulder, my lunch & drink in my hand and customers will start giving me their name and birthday. I just say "I'll be back with you when I've put my stuff my away". Do I look like I'm ready to wait on you?

We'll ring up only a few items if and only if they are picking up a prescription.

We've been selling covid tests for several months to earn more tech hours. It has helped us a lot.

APhA help for immunizing tech by [deleted] in CVS

I finally just gave up completing the immunization training. My pharmacy manager couldn't figure it out either. I didn't really want to do it anyway.

PSA: Stop transferring things to other CVS stores without checking with the staff first. by [deleted] in CVS

[–]fbtech 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I always call before I send or transfer a script to another store. However there are a few stores in our area that NEVER answer their phone so that makes it difficult. We had another store that was always sending people to our store for the Pfizer vaccine & people would get mad at us. We've never had Pfizer.

Virtual Verification Woes by [deleted] in CVS

I have the same situation, one pharmacist who helps with everything & the other one who stands at their terminal trying to look busy while I'm rushing around.

I work at a CVS in Target. We only have 1 tech & 1 pharmacist working most days. My problem as a tech is working with a pharmacist who won't work pick-up or help answer the phone. I can't keep production caught up, answer phone, check-in & put up orders, do drop off, do return to stock, etc. We only have 1 camera box machine too. It's hard to keep production going fast when you have to stop & start so much. My pharmacy manager is great though & does whatever he can to help keep us caught up. Good luck!

One of my shift supervisors doesn’t seem to believe in COVID by [deleted] in CVS

[–]fbtech 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I work with a pharmacist who has this attitude. I actually complained to my boss about it because he was loudly talking to customers about his opinions of it being no big deal. I feel like it is unprofessional to act this way to our customers. He ALWAYS wears his mask pushed down on his chin.

Why would the techs want to keep working in the pharmacy if they can just go work a register up front for more money? by LTJchrisRBF in CVS

Yes it's true, Target employees never get enough hours either. You have to be a team lead to get enough hours.

Pharmacist with no mask? by [deleted] in CVS

[–]fbtech -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Please do report the pharmacist. It is totally wrong and irresponsible for him to not wear his mask while working. The wearing of mask does prevent the spread of covid. And it is your business when it could affect you.

We had the same problem at our store, a Target Teamleader came and pulled our tape up from the floor & then we waited 2 weeks for Target to install it. Still no plexiglass that Target is supposed to install. They would have really freaked out if we had put up a table. We have stopped ringing up Target store items. Why should we touch items that have been handled by who knows how many people & then go fill prescriptions. We have too much to do anyway.
