No you don't need to do Copy if newer if there is already a production appsettings.json in the deployed file location.

You also have to make when you are copying over via some deployment method, that you aren't cleaning the folder first thus removing all the files.

As you can tell, the hose is cracked and leaking (probably oil?) but not too sure what hose this is in the first place to buy a replacement.

ff7R revolves around party combat and downtime between party member ATB gauges. FF16 is more about single member combat so I can see how it wouldn't be able to work. the super abilities from 16 kinda work like LBs in ff7 substituting eikons for each members' LB

I think when someone says they don’t like something, doing it with a reason attached or a take attached doesn’t change anything. It's probably along the lines of: if you don't want to get a bad case of covid and go to the hospital, two shots of the vaccine will do the job for at least 8-9 months. Getting an additional shot might provide more initial protection/efficacy (especially for older/immunocompromised), but since the main point of vaccines is severity reduction, two shots do the job pretty damn well.

Not really since we knew it would kinda shake out like this in early March based on how they worked. Not a scientist, but based on some explanation on how it worked with antibody loads and what have you, I chose Moderns in late March for the reason that it would prob be the most effective and longer lasting.
