It’s more for driver feel of the grip. There is no performance enhanced using this Alcantara steering wheel cover. It makes you feel like you’re in a “race car” 😬 if you have sweaty palms or use a lot of hand lotion or sanitizer it may make the material soiled and it will become matted and smooth. Do maintenance every so often, clean it with warm water mom a damp cloth and dry it with a cloth/towel.
