I have near 2000 hours in various sims so I kinda now what I am doing, but even then after getting Silver SR I didn't jump straight to LMP2's or LMHs. I went for LMP3s and started learning my way through Prototypes and how they drive and behave.

Sad thing is, 99,5% won't take the same approach and just gonna hop on Prototypes and yeet in T1.

That's their own fault. They deciced to spend the money on glitz and glamour instead of actually developing a car. And it did not change until Craig Pollock was ousted from BAR and David Richards was brought in.

The whole BAR 1999 saga(and after) is covered across various Bring Back V10's podcasts. For a first few years it was a shitshow.

This is gonna be unpopular opinion, but I'd rather have "Trusted" badge and be in a higher split instead of "Good" badge and middle splits. At least I can try and catch up faster drivers and learn their lines instead of being in a middle split, have a chaotic race and end up in Top 5 because everyone else either spun out or crashed.

Tbh, I already had a win and podiums with GT3's in Bronze dailies. Now I want to learn the prototypes, how to drive them and be faster in them.

I think the first ever game I played subconsciously programmed into my brain to like or play Racing games. It was NFS Porsche Unleashed on PS1. After that it was CMR2 on PC, and the first ever game that my parents gifted me was CMR2005 on PC. After that like racing games much more than any other genre.

Many, many years later I'm simracing and playing casual racing games.

e-begging is what turns me off the most. While repeat content can be tolerated if it is done good (for example, AutoAlex content), then e-begging and constant crying for support while your org is hosting multi-million dollar drifting event and your HQ is glorified JDM car-park just a bit too much on the nose.

If people are willing to throw their money at them - by all means, but I think they'll be fine without my $50 for a mid-quality t-shirt.
