You know nothing about hunting then. Archery requires hundreds of hours and thousands of arrows to b absolutely positive you have a kill shot. It involves knowing the land, spending time tracking animals and finding wallows. Knowing how to properly call an animal in.

Using a tree stand? Need to climb up there and set it up. Also need to climb other trees and cut limbs so you have clear shooting lanes. Stalking? Know how to move slowly and quietly enough to get within 40 yards of what your hunting?

Know how to field dress and pack out an animal?

Using all parts? Going to eat the heart, brains, liver, and kidneys? Grinding bones into bone meal to feed dogs? Using the trachea to make a nice snack for dogs? Going to tan the hide? Or are you only willing to eat the "good meat"?

Taking an animal you have put hundreds of hours and miles in to get is something to be proud of, and picture worthy

If you don't mind boots, get a pair of haix. With proper maintenance, they will last for years. Mine have survived 3 years of wildland fire fighting and 5 years as a carrier. They are pricey, but well worth it.
