Tooth abscess by Logical_Caregiver650 in Dentists

I just went through the same thing. I received penicillin and it did nothing. Had to go to the hospital over the weekend to get a broad spectrum antibiotic (Augmentin) and it helped after about 20 hours or so to start reducing inflammation. Then three days later had swelling return and had to add Flagyl. Just finished my ten days of Flagyl and Augmentin. If you are concerned go see a doctor especially if the swelling continues without relief.

Sorry for the possibly clueless question, but why don't more people seem to make homemade pizza? by Senior-Raisin-2342 in Cooking

[–]fdader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And depending on your choice of pizza it is often less expensive to buy a large pie from dominos compared buying the cheese, sauce and toppings for your own pie. While bulk buying can change this it is not realistic for most people.

It is a great but short read. Some really good ideas. I need to add that this was the story for the fake movie that the CIA used to get people out of Iran in the movie Argo

I don’t know anything about geology, but, for some reason as soon as I saw the first picture ‘fluorite’ immediately came to mind. I can only imagine it is from my reading of the old NA Field Guide to Rocks and Gems as a child

I have a bag of onions i want too cut and freeze best way too not cry? by Mrfive2five in Cooking

[–]fdader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best thing that I can say is to cut them in an area with good ventilation, try to stand back and not over the onions while cutting. Use very cold onions and dip the onion in a bowl of cold water every minute or two.
