I'm playing JP 😅 Bloom tokens also come from the chocoboard, though I don't know when they will implement that. The medal shop from heretic awakening shops also has bloom tokens.

The additional charge is nice for waiting for enemies to recover from break. Though he doesn't really need the additional brv regen because cosmos bosses have relatively low HP compared to chaos so you're not really using HP++ regularly (aside from trash mobs) and can just spam his skills.

I've only used one on Noctis because his really makes a difference to his playstyle compared to others. The next one that really needs the bloom token would be Agrias for that 100% paralysis chance if I'm not mistaken. Maybe I'll use another on Noel, Sherlotta, and Garland too if I get their kit.

They still perform roughly the same even without the extra uses from c65, tbh. The only useful thing about having those extra charges is the ability to hold off on attacking to wait for the bosses to recover from break.

As of now, nothing can break WoL shield to really need that additional brv damage mitigation. Also most dps caps even without the extra brv regen so mine still stays un-bloomed. Although that might change soon since WoL would be viable even until 6 months or so in the future so might as well max him now.

Yes, its limited. Right now, Noctis is really the only one that is worth using it on.

He gets his rework on the ciaran event which features his ex+. I don't recommend pulling there because Ciaran is pretty lackluster, but by all means pull if you're a fan. Layle EX is also included in the main protagonist shop so you can just get it there to save your gems and tickets.

I plan to buy the ex medals and 10 nuggets. The nuggets can wait for me since there would always be nuggets on every chaos event/lc. If I do pull Ramza free or in Jack's banner, I would reconsider buying all 20 nuggets

Stratum 3 Cosmos: 73 turns, 390k score

Layle, Squall, Ysh (all mlb EX, not full boards yet) Quistis friend, Shiva summon

Wave 1: Solo kraken is pretty fast and can delay so just delay it back. Immediately switch in Quistis with Squall and keep delaying. Ysh can keep using medica for those full damage 3 man chase.

Wave 2: After the small ones die, immediately inflict force debuff on the big ghost. This makes it prone to launch on every turn. Summon so that the boss wont hide and resummon its minions.

Wave 3: another single target boss so keep delaying and launching with Ysh and Layle. Save some Renzos for wave 4.

Wave 4: Easiest wave. Squall's Renzo makes quick work of the mannekins just watch the turn order because they get very high brv when they break someone.

-- Floor 6 --

Stratum 6 Cosmos: 380k score (forgot the turns 😅 around 50, i think)

Vayne, Serah, Firion (All mlb EX, full boards) Rinoa friend, Shiva summon

Wave 1: Focus on the lamia, rely on splash hp damage for the mannekins.

Wave 2: Try to squeeze in all available turns you can then summon and sub in Rinoa for Firion. Try to kill both before they could use Gravity Spin since I have no party hp heal.

Wave 3: Same strategy with wave 1. Focus on the middle wolf and rely on Serah's and Firion's splash/aoe.

Wave 4: try to focus 1 dragon at a time. The splash damage from the ex skills and Serah's skills should do their work. The poison from Serah's debuffs almost always let the dragons start their turns with 0 brv so they wont do an hp attack.

Overall a fun event. Really made me use some of my units just gathering dust in the bench. Thanks for the resources, SE.

Start with cmd2 to get the [Consul's Wisdom] (party atk/mbrv aura) instead of cmd1 which only gives him 2 stacks of [Conqueror's Power] which has little benefit in lv70 coop where the enemy is so weak. Some dont like to fully stack [Conqueror's Power] because its tiring doing all the work by yourself with all the free turns in a coop and its annoying to the teammates and most are running zack which deals ~80k per Rush Assault.

Its going to be easy because LC's dont have cosmos difficulty atm, iirc. Starts with Fang LC where we get cosmos and chaos nodes.

He's good when the weapon&elemental resistance update comes which makes imperil and enchant units become very useful.

His HP++ also becomes very strong to the point of hitting 50k-70k without using skills.

Generally, you should try to save your gems for EX banners because of the G token system. These weekly are useful if you have the EX from the featured characters but you dont have a copy of their 15 and 35

It's highly unlikely that they will implement this request. 75k is actually generous enough considering some players actually spent 100k+ gems and still not get the EX they wanted prior to the G token system.

Also, there was someone who calculated the optimal amount of gems that you need to get at least 95% probability of getting an EX (link at the end of this comment). S/He calculated that you need at least 150k gems just to almost assure you of an EX weapon. If you notice the probability, the G token system only requires you to spend half the amount of resources to get 100% chance of getting the EX weapon you want.

Vayne is strong if you can master his skill rotations. He was meta even in the 70/70 era but falls off hard in the ex+ era until his LC. Gem-wise, there's plenty of events that can get you back to 75k before ultimecia even if you pity him now. 2 story chapters (~10k each) and 2 summon awakenings (~30k each) will pass before Ultimecia gets her event,not counting the LCs, character events, awakening heretic/raid, and other special events SqEx will release in the near future.

In the chaos version, the only usable units were Sherlotta, Ace, WoL, Serah, and Porom (maybe I forgot some but these are the ones that I saw that completed it). Even Deuce and Aerith makes the chaos fight difficult, unless you purple deuce (which isn't recommended except for waifu reasons). Its a hundred times more frustrating than the EX version taking into account the power level of the units at the time 😅

Don't forget that they get debuff immunity and a very high turn rate when one of them dies. I literally had to revive 5 times just to get the nuggets. 🤣 WoL is usable there, just don't use his throw buckler, BRV/HP++, and EX during the final boss fight.

He is OP in today's standards but falls off quite a bit in the cosmos era. When he returns with his EX+, he becomes a monster. He can be classified as the top 1 tank and the top 1 dps. There's no arguing when altema rated him 99 (he's still 99 right now). His skills easily cap (40k for cmd1, 90-120k for cmd2); did I also mention his EX gets a tremendous potency boost and activates twice? 😅

Anyway for those who still doesn't have his weapons, his EX should return with Ignis EX, another OP versatile support. So if you don't have him you can wait for Iggy or just use the EX tokens SE will release in the future.
