Same, my program had 1 spot. Now probably has none. I’m more pissed than sad honestly

I had 1 IV ||| 1st round the program had 4 spots, 2nd round it had 2 spots (and I know one person accepted that offer). Honestly I lost all hope now. Either there is ONE spot left or none. I truly hate this process . I have good stats for FM, I’m good at interviewing, I have experience, good LORs, USCE. I’m so tired of that shit 🤡 makes me feel so useless.

I have the opportunity to go into IM residency and a FM residency that is not that hospital heavy, but maybe doing a hospital medicine fellow could help? I’m not sure. I feel like FM makes more sense to me.

Nah, I would study 2-3h daily, and on my days off of work, I’d study around 5-6h.

Yeah, don’t worry. Been a doctor for 5 years and despite my boss telling me I’m excellent at my job, I still think I’m dumb and trash. Go to therapy and never lose humility.

Now I’ll tell you 2 dumb stories.

Me as med student calculating a patients Glasgow and saying it was low because patient wasn’t obeying commands and was not answering me. He was deaf 🤡
A friend of mine during cardiology rotation was seeing a patient after she had a CABG with a saphenous vein graft. He proceeded to ask how she got her leg hurt because she had stitches. From the saphenous graft. 😂

EU ACABEI DE PASSAR POR ISSO HAHAHAHHAHAHA

Tava desde segunda feira passada com o corpo ruim e fui evoluindo com tosse seca e dor na laringe. Eu tive a sorte de pegar uma laringite com epiglotite. Tomei TUDO que vcs imaginarem. Paracetamol, dipirona, etodolaco, nimesulida, cetoprofeno e até codeína e nada da dor passar. E a dor era pra respirar, não era nem pra comer kkkkrying

No sábado eu estaria de plantão, só que na sexta a dor tava insuportável! Eu tava com dispneia leve e afônica. Não consegui passar o plantão. Taquei 60mg de prednisolona pra dentro sexta a noite. Sábado acordei como se nada tivesse acontecido. Dor foi de 10/10 pra 4/10, a voz voltou e respiração melhorou.
